A very rare Civil War period lantern clock made in the early 1660s by Lawrence Sindry of London, former apprentice to Henry Ireland, being the only clock of any kind yet recorded by this maker. It was built with balance wheel control modified later, as almost all were, to long pendulum. Pictured unrestored. SOLD.
